Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Shree Kishori Keshav Foundation ("the foundation", "we") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit shreekishorikeshavfoundation.com or make a donation.

1. Information we collect

  • Donation details: your name, email address, mobile number, donation amount, selected cause and any optional message or dedication you provide.
  • Payment references: the order ID, payment ID, payment method type and payment status provided by our payment gateway, Razorpay.
  • Technical information: a pseudonymised (hashed) form of your IP address used for security and abuse prevention, and an essential session cookie.

We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, net-banking passwords or OTPs. These are entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout.

2. How we use your information

  • To process your donation and confirm it to you.
  • To keep accurate financial records and meet legal and accounting obligations.
  • To respond to your questions or contact you about your donation.
  • To show your name as a supporter — only if you chose that option. Donation amounts are never shown publicly.
  • To protect the website against fraud and misuse.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Razorpay, to process your payment, under Razorpay's own privacy policy;
  • our hosting provider, which stores the website and database;
  • authorities, where required by law.

4. Cookies

This website uses an essential session cookie for security (protection against cross-site request forgery) and, for administrators, for signing in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Razorpay's checkout may set its own cookies when you make a payment. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts.

5. Data retention

To be confirmed by the foundation: donation records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax laws, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, restricted administrative access, hashed passwords and access logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop displaying your name publicly, subject to records we are legally required to keep. Contact us at shreekishorikeshav@gmail.com.
